Monark Anaerobic Test Ergometer

An ergometer for anaerobic tests that also works as a normal traditional weight ergometer. RPM-controlled release of weight basket and test duration up to 99 minutes increase safety and the potential for optimal tests. The easy-to-use Windows-based software has more setting possibilities with clear presentation graphics. Thanks to double sensors, faster electronics and improved mechanics, performing anaerobic tests is now more efficient and less complicated. Best choice for research and top athletes testing. During the development of the anaerobic ergometer the focus was to create a safe bike that is easy to use, combined with an attractive design. The result is Monark 894E Anaerobic Test Ergometer. A new bike however, still with the traditional characteristics of a Monark bike. A brand new frame with a softer design, but with improved performance regarding stability and rigidity. This exercise bike also works as a regular weight ergometer.

View Enlarged Pic	The new Windows based software increases the setting possibilities for anaerobic tests. The test time can vary in a range of 5 to 300 seconds, with 5 second intervals. This means that the standardized Wingate test still can be performed. The analysis features is better in this new software. 	The weight basket is a patented self-regulating braking system which don't need calibration. As long as the basket is in the air and the weights are correct even the brake force is correct. The mechanics of the weight basket has been improved which will increase the safety of the releasing moment. Delivered with a set of weights; eight 1 kg, one 0.5 kg and four 0.1 kg. The weight of the basket is 1 kg.	The saddle post has adjustment possibilities in both height and length. This increases the setting opportunities for different cyclist. Most saddles fits the post thanks to the round end of post.
	Combined SPD and Clips pedal with threads in standard dimension fits the most common pedal systems	Electronic meter that shows pedal rev per minute RPM, HR, Time, Speed plus Distance. In addition workload can be set, giving a reading of CAL and WATT.
